October 13: Octagon Open House.

The Newark Earthworks Center will be offering  guided tours, atlatl throwing, and crafts from noon to 4 pm.  Public has full access to the site.  We hope to see you there!
October 24: Ohio Earthworks: History, Preservation, and Archaeo-tourism

Come see lectures on Ohio's earthworks, UNESCO World Heritage Status, and Amazonian earthworks.  Starting at 1 pm through 4 pm.

The Newark Earthworks Center employs four trained tour guides (two certified teachers & two Native Americans) who give tours for K-12 classes & other groups.
Admission is $5 per person except for teachers & aids.
Approximately 2, 500 school children participate each year.
