Investigation into a Late Prehistoric Bison Kill/Butchering Event at Bog Bone Lick State Park

Robert A. Genheimer has written an exciting and informative article about the recent discovery of a bison kill or butchering event in Bog Bone Lick State Park, Kentucky from the late prehistoric.

"Big Bone Lick has been referred to as “the birthplace of American paleontology” because 
of its preservation of extinct megafauna, its collection history, and sporadic excavations, the 
latter of which span the last two centuries..."
