The Field Museum: Intern Opportunity for the North American Anthropology Collections

Mullins-Martin Internship

"This paid internship is designed to encourage Native American scholarship and use of the extant Native North American collections of The Field Museum. This year, we have two potential projects for students to participate in: a) research, document, and enhance the catalog for archaeological sites in the Mid-continent in order to allow for greater access to these important collections; and b) conduct research on the Northwest Coast material culture collection from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Native American students are encouraged to apply for this internship. Please specify which project you would be interested in working on in your cover letter (see below). Qualified candidates should be undergraduate or graduate students, or recent graduates in anthropology, history, or Native American studies. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills."
