will be a 3 mile walk; largely along sidewalks, down alleys and on some uneven
ground. Very level. Bring a water bottle and join us on a visit to some remnants
and traces of the once four and a half square mile complex; still visible even
beyond the Octagon & Observatory Circle itself.

The Newark Earthworks Center and South Central Ohio Preservation Society invite you to attend two public lectures:

The Newark Earthworks Center employs four trained tour guides (two certified teachers & two Native Americans) who give tours for K-12 classes & other groups.
Admission is $5 per person except for teachers & aids.
